An address from the chair

Hi there.

I didn’t anticipate having to write to you all. Dr Mulgan is clearly the brains of this operations. For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Stephen Iorns. I’m the chair of Lifeguard Health Limited and Roderick’s co-founder. I’m tasked with keeping this ship on an even keel, and often engaged in the nuts and bolts of the operation. I’m writing to you about how  COVID-19 will impact LifeGuard Health, and at worst case scenario impact our continued supply of Essentials to our valued customers.

Regular customers may or may not have noticed that our stock has an expiry date looming in July this year. Prior to COVID-19, we were in the process of having our next batch of product manufactured and placed in our warehouse. With the current lockdown, we are not sure when this will be done, and fear that there will be a delay in the continuity of supply as a result. All we can do about this is carry on. As our way of trying to do right by our customers, we are offering 40% off any order of two or more bottles of 60s, or three or more bottles of 30s. The discount code to participate in this order is SORRYCOVID. We are genuinely sorry that those of you, who like us, rely upon Lifeguard to ensure that those niggles stay away, may face a spell absent our product. This is sadly despite the apt name “essentials”. I personally take Lifeguard Essentials daily, and when that routine slips I notice it fairly promptly.

We will do our best to fix this issue as soon as we can, but with a lot of moving parts and external factors, all we can say right now is that we will do out best. It is not easy, and like many businesses this is going to hurt us. We’re reassessing how to survive, and might have to instil a few changes to get us through this without closing the doors; this might mean taking away the automatic discount for free shipping, but, we’re looking at what we can do to avoid that. I’ll let you know once we know more. For now, we have plenty of stock, and a solid commitment to doing all we can to continue supply. Our warehouse is still shipping, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on LifeGuard Health.
