Is depression inflammatory too?

Perhaps depression is inflammatory: people with higher blood levels of inflammatory markers are more likely to get it, and the things that make inflammation worse - stress, poor diet - are known to raise the risk. Current anti-depressant drugs change brain chemicals; maybe in future they will block inflammation.
